As we know about Seventh house, it is house of marriage, spouse, marital happiness, market place, other people (masses), business partnerships, agreements, etc. This is the house of partnerships, the most important partnership is marriage. Until the 7th house in Vedic astrology, the focus was on the individual. With this house, the focus shifts from self to the other. This house is just opposite the ascendant. The first house is self and the seventh house is partner, together they complement each other and make a whole. The 7th house in the house series marks a big shift in analyzing the destiny of an individual. Planet Venus is the natural significator of this house. The 7th house is also known as Kalatra Bhava in Vedic Astrology and is ruled by the Libra sign.

You look for a spouse which is more home oriented or one which can adjust to your home environment and culture. Spouse may be earning mean a working professional. You may have good education. You may go to foreign or faraway places many times.
You look for a spouse who can bring peace of mind to you and home environment. You expect your spouse to bring peace and convenience to your home. You may suffer some problems in married life or lack in happiness there. You are very honest, responsible, and spiritually incline which grants access for the mind to become spiritually evolved and with this, become closer to salvation or in other words reaching heaven afterlife.
