The meaning of sanskrit word Swati is “Swa” which means Self or Own or independence or self-going. So, Swati also means Independent or Self-Sustaining. Purity or more precisely the purest first drop of rain will rightly define Swati Nakshatra. It is the fifteenth constellation of the zodiac belt means ‘Sword’. Its main symbol is a tiny grass leaf blown by Wind | Sword | Coral | Priest | Shoot of Plant. Wind itself is seen as symbol of Swati. Vayu or Pawan Dev or Wind god is the main presiding deity of Swati. Swati’s lord is Rahu. Sign lord is Venus. Swati nakshatra in astrology is one of the Tiryaka Mukhi Nakshatras (or the Nakshatras, which have their mouths curved).
Just like Rahu, Ketu also represents illusion as both are illusionary planets but the difference is that Ketu is also the one who removes the illusion and brings enlightenment. It also represents isolation, separation, spirituality, mystical world, other dimension means things related to alien world, also represents Son, Dog, Intuition, research ability, curious nature, things which we have already achieved in past life and not much concerned to perform in this life.
So when ketu is in Swati nakshatra it means, you may be in love collecting shoes, buying shoes and if a shoe breaks for you a major karma gets released or plays out in your life.
