What does Jupiter or Guru in 6th House means ?
Please Note: This is general prediction and results may vary based on aspects | conjunction | strength of planet etc.
As we have known, Jupiter in Vedic Astrology is considered to be the second most powerful planet. It is also called the Devaguru or Brishaspti. The planet itself is the biggest in the solar system and it also has a great impact in a person’s life. The planet is responsible for knowledge, dedication and wisdom. It is closely linked to the kids and wealth. This is one of the reasons it is called the significator of children and wealth.
Also we know 6th (Sixth) house is 1st of Dushthana Houses (houses # 6, 8 and 12) and 2nd of Upachaya Houses (houses # 3, 6, 10 & 11). 6th house represents things like diseases, debts, obstacles, enemies, disputes, competitions, litigations, under privileged people, pets, daily routine life, colleagues at work place etc.
So when Jupiter is 6th house it means, You like to serve under privileged or poor people and animals. Being a Uppachaya house, results of this house will be seen late may be after 30s or 36 years of your age. Your wisdom is increasing as age increases.
You can be a lawyer or counsellor or similar profession. legal matters may be of interest or you may be a faculty for same. You like to share knowledge on internet or with foreign people or people in hospitals, etc. It also blesses the enjoyment of divine sensual pleasures, spiritual enlightenment, and sound sleep.
Jupiter is a natural benefic planet whose general characteristics are not fully suitable with the environment of the malefic astrological 6th house. So mixed results are seen in this placement and tricky to predict. It can be blessing in disguise.
