What is Brahma yoga?

Yogas, essentially, refer to the combination of the Sun and the Moon when a native is born in a constellation. There are a total of 27 different Yogas based on the twenty seven constellations propounded in Vedic Astrology. The astrological combinations or Niti yogas help decipher the personality traits of an individual like temperament, behavior and other characteristics. The Nitya Yogas are mathematically calculated by adding the longitudes of the Moon and the Sun and dividing the sum by 13 degrees and 20 minutes.

Natives born with Brahma Yoga (Brāhma) is the 25th Nitya (Naisargika) Yoga, which is ruled by Ashwini Kumaras and considered to be a benefic one. Its nature usually described as “divine source”, “essence of Universe” , “Priest”, “God” — are a brave and adventurous kind. Native will make him enjoy life to the maximum. He will be respected by learned men. He will good social circle and have friends in high places. He will be fond of eating and spending on luxuries and comforts. You are prone to making rash decisions. They know how to get their work done. This yoga is related to healing or giving life to something.

Brahma Yoga

You are a religious person with interest in spiritual books. You have faith in sacred teachings and religious scriptures. they are naturally interested in Philosophy and the Law Divine. They are ready for hard sacrifice by which alone high heaven is learned. As a result they will be loved and respected. This Nithyayoga denotes Wisdom & the life divine. They get knowledges of Vedas. They get wisdom and honour.

People born with Brahma Yoga love adventures. They always find help in time of need. They are very helpful. They need to learn to be patient with others. People born with Brahma are swift and get irritated with people who are slow and lazy. They have great memory power. The person having this Yoga will acquire higher education, will be religious or spiritual minded, virtuous, charitable and will have a long life. He will have loyal and devoted wife, worthy children, will acquire land, property and wealth. He will travel far and wide and will overall be lucky with good health.

This astrological Yoga occurs when all the 3 conditions are fulfilled in a horoscope — First, Jupiter has to be in any of the Kendra or Quadrant houses (1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses) form the 9th house lord. Second, Venus has to be in any of the Kendra or Quadrant houses form the 11th house lord and third, Mercury has to be in any of the Kendra or Quadrant houses form the Lagna or Ascendant Lord.

All these favorable results will be due to favorable deeds done in past lives and shows one’s fortune and good luck in the present life as a result of past actions or due to ‘Purva Punya’. The person will do higher studies in life and will be appreciated in the society because of his wisdom. The person will also be fond of charity and helping others. The person will live long and always inclined towards spirituality.

This yoga effects will be visible when Jupiter and Venus or 11th or 5th house lord comes in dasa/antardasa in birth chart or when these planets transits in its original location in horoscope.

There are 27 Yogas in all, which occur on different days as Nakshatra, Thithi etc. occur. To avoid confusion with Raja Yogas etc. occurring in individual horoscopes, these are called Dina Yogas or Nitya Yogas. “Dina” means a day and “Nitya” means daily.
