What is mangal dosha?

As the name depicts mangal means mars, so it is a dosha means malefic effect due to presence of mars in wrong houses. Now lets see why is it so, and is it truly that bad.
As we know, Mars represents action, and energy, courage, valor with confidence, ambition, goal, and power. Commander in Chief planet.
So mars which represent energy — aggression becomes active in important house it can also impact wrong things. Like aggression in relationship will spoil it, etc. Mangal dosha happens when mars/mangal is placed in house 1, 2, 4, 7, 8 and 12 in lagna chart. People with this dosha are usually referred as manglik. Its recommended to check for horoscope during match making for marriage.
Now why does only these house have been considered, from these house mars impact 2nd, 7th and 8th house of marriage, family and relationship with inlaws. Anger management is best for these natives, as aggression in any form has its negative traits too — its good to have for e.g. for soldiers or sports person, but same thing in any relationship is a spoiler.
Anger and aggression leads to arguments and finally leads to unhappy situations in bad cases will lead to split. This is reason behind all manglik dosha outcomes.
