What is Sadhya Yoga?

Yogas, essentially, refer to the combination of the Sun and the Moon when a native is born in a constellation. There are a total of 27 different Yogas based on the twenty seven constellations propounded in Vedic Astrology. The astrological combinations or Niti yogas help decipher the personality traits of an individual like temperament, behavior and other characteristics. The Nitya Yogas are mathematically calculated by adding the longitudes of the Moon and the Sun and dividing the sum by 13 degrees and 20 minutes.

Sadhya (Sādhya) is the 22th Nitya (Naisargika) Yoga, which is ruled by Savitri and considered to be a benefic one. Its effect usually described as accomplishable | attainable | Amenable. Shukra is a Graha that rules Sadhya Nitya Yoga. One born with this yoga will have various kinds of callings (activities), be faithful to his master, highly intelligent and liberal minded. If you are born with Sadhya Yoga you are a hard working, diplomatic and determined person. “This yoga makes the character of the native determined and confident. This yoga makes the character of the person determined and confident. People born in Sadhya Yoga are acknowledged by people for their skills. Patience is a special characteristic trait in them and they wait for the fruits of their labor with out much worry. They don’t act at the spur of a moment and will only make well-thought decisions. Native are intelligent. They are also fond of good smells. They should maintain good hygiene in life. People born with Sadhya Yoga are soft spoken and progressive in their life.

There are 27 Yogas in all, which occur on different days as Nakshatra, Thithi etc. occur. To avoid confusion with Raja Yogas etc. occurring in individual horoscopes, these are called Dina Yogas or Nitya Yogas. “Dina” means a day and “Nitya” means daily.
